The tart with pistachio cream in an air fryer, a dessert that will conquer you with the first bite, perfect for any occasion.
Note: with the shortcrust pastry dose, you can make 2 tarts. Alternatively, you can use the pastry for other preparations, such as rolled cookies, tart with jam or hazelnut cream.

Ingredients for the tart with pistachio cream in air fryer:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup butter at room temperature
- 1 medium egg
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp fine salt
- 1/2 lemon (grated zest)
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 500 g pistachio cream

Steps for preparing and cooking the tart with pistachio cream in air fryer:
In a bowl, mix the yolks with the egg.
Sift the flour on the pasta board, add the sugar, the grated zest of half a lemon, soft but not melted butter, vanilla seeds, and finally the salt.
Now add the previously mixed eggs and start kneading the various ingredients.
At first, the mixture will tend to crumble, but gradually it will blend with the flour and become smooth and homogeneous.
Form a dough ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
After the time has passed, place the pastry on the pasta board and roll out a sheet about 0.2 inches thick. Butter and flour an 18 cm diameter pan (or the size of the fryer), or you can make a parchment paper disk for the base, line it with the pastry, remove the excess dough, and prick the base of the pastry with a fork.
With the leftover pastry, knead again, roll out a sheet still 0.2 inches thick, and cut into strips.
Place the pistachio cream on the pastry (250 grams), cover with the lattice strips, and cover the tart’s edge by placing dough strips around the entire circumference and pressing them well with a fork.
With the scraps, we made little leaves for decoration.
Bake in the air fryer at 320°F for 10 minutes and at 356°F for about 8 minutes.
Let it cool before consuming, decorate with fine pistachio granules and powdered sugar.
TRADITIONAL OVEN COOKING:
Bake at 356°F for about 20/25 minutes.
