Air Fryer Apple Cake a new sweet recipe to add to all my other Cakes! This super easy one, with few ingredients that I’m sure you all have at home, is a variation of my Air Fryer Orange Cake, made with apples instead of oranges.
I absolutely love apple cakes, I’ve made them for different tastes: like the APPLE CAKE WITH GREEK YOGURT, the SUGAR-FREE APPLE CAKE, and I also tried making the MICROWAVE APPLE CAKE to experiment with another appliance I have at home.. and what can I say! All delicious!
I’ve been cooking a lot of dishes in the air fryer, especially since my daughter was born, not so much for the quicker cooking time which is more or less the same, but for the ease of cleaning I find with this appliance.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 7 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 apples
- 1 packet baking powder

Preparation
Crack the eggs into a large bowl.
Add the sugar and quickly whisk both ingredients with a hand whisk to combine them.
Add the softened butter.
Sift in the flour and baking powder.
Also add the room temperature milk and mix well to achieve a smooth and well-combined batter.
Wash the apples, peel them, and cut one into cubes and the other into slices.
Put the cubes into the bowl with the batter and stir to distribute them evenly inside.
Pour the batter for the apple cake into a 20 cm (about 8-inch) springform pan and level the surface.
Arrange the apple slices on the surface of the cake.
Add a little granulated sugar on the surface of the cake and place it inside the air fryer basket.
Cook the apple cake in the air fryer at 320°F for 45 minutes.
When it’s done, check the center of the cake with a skewer, and if it’s ready, take it out; otherwise, continue cooking at 320°F for another 5 minutes.
Let it cool slightly and serve the apple cake, maybe accompanied by a dollop of cream or a scoop of ice cream.
Storage
The air fryer apple cake keeps at room temperature for 4 days.
