Air Fryer Roasted Peppers are a very easy and quick side dish to prepare! With all the recipes I’m trying to make in the air fryer, including my Sea Bream, muffins, and Carrots.. I couldn’t resist making air fryer roasted peppers too, which disappear in no time at my house!
Roasted peppers are perfect to serve as a side dish with meat and fish, but they are also great used as an appetizer like my Appetizers with Peppers, Margherita’s peppers. They are delicious even without too much seasoning, and they are also diet-friendly because they are cooked in the air fryer without oil, and peppers are a vegetable that doesn’t contain too many calories!
So what are you waiting for to put some nice peppers in your air fryer?

- Portions: 4
- Cooking methods: Air Frying
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Summer, Autumn
Ingredients
- 3 bell peppers
Tools
- 1 Air Fryer
Preparation
Thoroughly wash the peppers under running water to remove any impurities.
Leave the peppers whole without removing the stem and place them inside the air fryer basket.
Cook the peppers in the air fryer at 356°F for 20 minutes.
When the air fryer turns off and the peppers are cooked, do not open the air fryer immediately. Wait for the peppers to cool down, then open the basket, take the peppers and remove the skin.
You’ll notice that letting them rest in the warmth allows the skin to come off very easily.
Serve the pepper fillets on a serving plate, seasoning them with garlic, oregano, oil, or whatever you prefer.
STORAGE
Store air fryer roasted peppers in an airtight food container for up to 3 days in the fridge.
