Air Fryer Sea Bream is a really tasty main dish, different from my Ligurian-Style Baked Sea Bass due to the different cooking method, as the sea bream is cooked with an air fryer! Since I have to eat a lot of fish for the diet I’m following, and after preparing the Mediterranean Shark, the Frozen Shark in the Pan, and also Livornese Shark, I wanted to prepare a nice sea bream fillet cooked in a healthy and quick way. Lately, I’ve been cooking a lot in the air fryer because it’s very convenient for me, I use less oil, and it also produces less “smell” in the house. In fact, more recipes will be coming soon, in the meantime try the air fryer sea bream, which cooks in no time and retains its flavor and the tenderness of its flesh!

Ingredients
- 2 sea breams (about 14 oz each)
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 0.7 oz Taggiasca olives
- capers
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
Preparation
If you buy fresh sea breams, remove the innards, rinse them thoroughly under running water, and descale them. Alternatively, you can have your trusted fishmonger do these steps for you.
If you use frozen sea breams, first let them completely thaw.
Salt the inside of the sea breams and place them inside the air fryer basket. In my case, I managed to fit two because the sea breams were small and the basket is quite spacious.
If they don’t fit in terms of length, slightly bend up the tail part.
Add the whole cherry tomatoes to the air fryer basket and cook, without oil, at 356°F for 25 minutes.
Remove your sea breams and transfer them to a plate.
Remove the head from the sea breams, remove the skin and bones. If the sea bream is cooked well, all the bones will come away from the flesh very easily.
Transfer the sea bream fillets to a serving plate, garnish with the cherry tomatoes, add capers, Taggiasca olives, and olive oil.
If you like, you can also add chopped parsley and garlic.
STORAGE
The sea bream cooked in the air fryer can be stored for two days in the refrigerator, in an airtight food container.
