Apple little cakes, soft treats similar to muffins, but made not with my ALL-PURPOSE MUFFIN BATTER but with the APPLE CAKE batter.
Making apple little cakes is child’s play, and you can also bake them in an air fryer to speed up the cooking process!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 apple
- 1 egg
- Half packet baking powder
- cinnamon
- powdered sugar
- sliced almonds
Preparation
To prepare the apple little cakes, peel the apple, cut it into wedges, and then dice into small cubes.
In a large bowl, add the room temperature butter and sugar.
Beat with a mixer until creamy, then add the egg.
Whip the mixture until fluffy, then sift the all-purpose flour and baking powder into the cream and use the mixer again to combine the powders into the mixture.
Add the milk to achieve a soft, creamy mixture but not liquid.
To finish, add a dusting of cinnamon, the diced apples, and stir with a spatula to combine the two ingredients.
Transfer the mixture into six muffin cups, sprinkle the surface with sliced almonds, and bake in a preheated oven at 356°F for 20 minutes.
You can also bake the apple little cakes in an air fryer at 311°F for 20 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the apple little cakes from the oven and sprinkle the surface with powdered sugar.
Storage
Store the apple little cakes under a glass cake dome for up to 3 days.
