Meringues in air fryer are one of the most classic Desserts of Italian cuisine and beyond, a dessert that I find really perfect to serve during festivities because it always pleases everyone!
Usually, I use egg whites in the morning for my breakfast with PROTEIN PANCAKES, but after making PASTRY CREAM I had leftover egg whites and decided to make meringues in the air fryer, as I was curious to see how they would turn out.. and I must say I’m really satisfied!

Ingredients
- 1 egg white (about 30 g)
- 80 g sugar
Preparation
Place the egg white at room temperature in a tall-rimmed glass.
Start whisking the egg white with an electric mixer.
When the egg white starts to turn white and thicken, add the sugar gradually, continuously beating the mixture with the electric mixer.
Once you have finished adding the sugar to the egg white, you should have a stiff and firm mixture.
Transfer it into a piping bag and create small meringue heaps on a sheet of parchment paper.
Place the parchment paper with the meringues at the bottom of the air fryer basket.
Cook the meringues in the air fryer at 212°F for 50 minutes.
When the meringues are cooked, remove them from the fryer, let them cool, and serve.
Storage
The meringues in the air fryer can be stored at room temperature for two weeks.
