Pancakes with Protein Powder are an easy breakfast treat perfect for those who work out and already use protein powder. They are prepared similarly to my Water Pancakes, except that in these protein powder pancakes, the egg is replaced by the protein powder.
Often, those who work out a lot in the gym supplement their diet with protein shakes, but sometimes a more solid breakfast is more enjoyable than a shake. That’s why I came up with the idea of making pancakes with protein powder for all those who love to prepare the Pancake Recipe but wanted to make it more diet-friendly.
You can, of course, replace all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour, like my Whole Wheat Pancakes, or with almond flour, like my Almond Flour Pancakes
I advise against adding sugar because protein powders are usually already flavored and sweetened.

Ingredients
- 3.4 oz water
- 2/3 cup flour
- 0.7 oz protein powder
- Half teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Pour the water into a bowl.
Take a sieve, place it over the bowl, and sift in the flour and baking powder.
Also add the protein powder and sift all the dry ingredients.
Mix with a whisk to obtain a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Heat a pan on the stove.
When the pan is hot, pour the protein powder pancake batter into it.
Cook the pancake for about 3 minutes on the first side. When bubbles form on the surface, flip the pancake using a spatula and finish cooking on the second side.
Serve the pancake on a plate, garnished with nuts, fresh fruit, and honey.
STORAGE
The protein powder pancake can be stored in the fridge for up to two days. However, I recommend preparing and consuming it immediately.
