Soft Cake in Air Fryer is my brand-new recipe to add to my other Cakes, all delicious and super soft!
Recently, I’ve been baking small cakes all in the air fryer because I don’t want to turn on the oven, so I tried the Apple Cake in Air Fryer, the Orange Cake in Air Fryer, and now I’ve decided to prepare this soft cake in the air fryer without adding anything to have a kind of MARGHERITA CAKE faster and easier!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- powdered sugar
Preparation
Place the two eggs in a large bowl.
Add the sugar and quickly beat with a hand whisk.
It is not necessary to beat the mixture with electric beaters.
Add the milk at room temperature and the vanilla extract.
Pour in also the melted and cooled butter.
Sift directly into the bowl the all-purpose flour and the baking powder.
Mix everything with the hand whisk energetically, to obtain a creamy and lump-free batter.
Butter and flour a cake pan of 8 inches in diameter. I chose a springform pan, but if you prefer, you can use a regular cake pan that can fit your air fryer.
Pour the cake batter into the pan and level the surface with a spatula.
Place the pan inside the basket of the air fryer and bake at 320°F for 45 minutes.
At the end, check the cake’s doneness with a skewer. If it comes out dry, your cake is ready. Remove it from the fryer and let it cool before removing it from the pan. Otherwise, continue baking for another 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the surface of the cake with powdered sugar and serve.
Storage
The Soft Cake in Air Fryer can be stored for 5 days at room temperature.
