Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- to taste lemon
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 1 pinch salt
How to make All Apple Cake
First, peel the apples and slice them into very thin pieces.
In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and grated lemon zest with a mixer until they become frothy.
Add the melted butter, milk, flour, and baking powder once you have a smooth and homogeneous mixture.
Pour in the previously sliced fruit, and mix gently so as not to break the apples.
Place everything in an 18-20 cm (7-8 inch) pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 45 minutes. Quickly open the oven, cover the surface with aluminum foil, and continue baking for another 10-15 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
Storage and tips for All Apple Cake
This pantry cake can be kept under a cake dome for up to 3 days. You can also store it in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap. Always do the toothpick test: if the toothpick comes out dry, the cake is done.
