Apples in Puff Pastry are delightful, eye-catching treats that are incredibly easy to make. The combination of puff pastry and apples is always a winner. Some time ago, I also shared apple turnovers, the quick rose cake, and the puff pastry cake with apples filled with custard, truly unique. The recipe for apples in puff pastry is disarmingly simple, and the step-by-step photos, along with the video, will guide you through the process. If you want some soft leavened treats, try the apple brioche braid; for the more indulgent, the Greek apple cake.
Now I’ll leave you with the recipe, and if you haven’t already, subscribe to my social channels on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Ingredients
- 2 apples (not too large)
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- to taste ground cinnamon
- to taste jam
How to Make Apples in Puff Pastry
Peel the apples, remove the core, and cut into slices about 3/8 inches thick. Then, pass them through a mix of sugar and cinnamon.
Unroll the puff pastry and, using a knife, divide it into six equal parts. Cut the corners as shown in the photo to create a sort of frame.
Place each sugared apple slice on the square and fold the outer corners towards the center, pressing lightly with your finger to seal them.
Add a drop of jam in the center and place the pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle with the remaining sugar, then bake at 375°F for about 10 minutes in static mode.
Storage and Tips for Apples in Puff Pastry
This delightful treat can be stored under a cake dome until the next day. If you don’t like jam, you can use a candied cherry instead. You can also bake them in an air fryer at 320°F for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Instead of apple slices, you can use a slice of pineapple.
