Ingredients

  • 4 pork chop
  • 1 cup cornmeal (Toasted for breading, alternatively breadcrumbs)
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 4 potatoes
  • to taste salt
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste rosemary

Steps

  • Place the toasted cornmeal, salt, rosemary, and Parmesan cheese in a large plate.

  • At this point, bread the meat and then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes, season with salt, pepper, and rosemary. Add to the meat, then drizzle with olive oil. Bake everything at 375°F for about 20-25 minutes.

  • Cook until you see a nice crust. Remove from the oven and serve while still hot!

Storage and Tips for Baked Breaded Chops

You can bread the meat in advance and store it in the refrigerator. If you prefer, you can also freeze them by wrapping them separately in plastic wrap.

Baked breaded chops are best consumed immediately to preserve their crispness. Alternatively, you can store them in the refrigerator for one day and reheat them before serving.

You can replace the loin chops with other types of meat based on your preferences.
