Have you already tried the risotto with salmon and robiola or the gnocchi with salmon and zucchini? They are perfect recipes for the Christmas period when Salmon is king on our tables.
About today’s baked pasta with salmon and mozzarella, I can tell you they are super quick to make: cook the pasta, leaving it slightly al dente, then mix everything raw, a nice sprinkle of cheese, and off into the oven for a few minutes. If you have more time available, you can make the béchamel at home, and if you don’t like it, you can use cooking cream, making this main dish even easier to prepare.

How to make Baked Pasta with Salmon and Mozzarella
Cook the pasta in salted boiling water, achieving an al dente texture.
Once cooked, drain the pasta and dress it with béchamel, mozzarella, and sliced salmon.
Place some béchamel at the bottom of a baking dish, pour in the pasta, and sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan to achieve a crust in the oven.
As a last step, bake the baked pasta at 356°F for about 20 minutes in static mode.
Tips and variations on baked pasta with salmon and mozzarella
You can substitute smoked salmon with fresh salmon, and if you like, you can add tomato sauce after browning the salmon for a few minutes in the pan. This type of preparation can be stored in the fridge covered with plastic wrap for a maximum of a couple of days, but I do not recommend freezing it.
FAQ (Questions and Answers)
Why is oven-baked pasta preferred?
The reason it’s preferred is that you can prepare it well in advance and bake it 10 minutes before sitting at the table. Indeed, it needs only a few minutes to cook, just enough time to melt the cheese.
