Beer rolls, super easy and quick recipe. I love preparing quick main dishes like this one. I also recommend Mediterranean rolls and creamy chicken rolls; if you’re looking for something different and more appetizing, try the ham rolls with potatoes.
Beer rolls are very simple to make: just fill them with cooked ham and cheese, then cook them in a skillet with beer, which will give a slightly bitter, unique, and very pleasant taste. Of course, here you must dip the bread! You can accompany them with oven-baked cacio e pepe potatoes. Save the recipe and rush to make it. Ingredients for beer rolls

  • 8 slices veal slices (or pork loin)
  • 8 slices cooked ham
  • 3.5 oz cheese
  • 3/4 cup light beer
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • to taste salt
  • 2 cloves garlic

How to make beer rolls

  • Flour the meat slices, then fill them with cooked ham and thinly sliced cheese.

  • Now, roll them up and secure with toothpicks. Do this step for all the veal slices.

  • In a skillet, sauté two cloves of garlic with a splash of oil. Place the rolls and brown.

  • Remove the garlic cloves, salt and deglaze with the beer. Cook for 5-6 minutes over high heat.

Storage and variations of beer rolls

They are delicious enjoyed soft and fragrant, but if there are leftovers, you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator until the next day. Instead of cooked ham, you can use speck, and for cheese, provolone or Gruyere work perfectly.
