Ingredients
- 1.75 lbs chicken
- 1 cup yogurt
- 3 cups breadcrumbs
- to taste salt
- to taste paprika
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
How to Prepare Crispy Yogurt Chicken
In a bowl, mix yogurt with spices: paprika, salt, pepper, and rosemary.
Mix well, then add the chicken and coat well. Let it marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
In a separate small bowl, mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, then generously sprinkle over the chicken to create a crust.
Add a drizzle of oil on top for a more golden and crispy surface, bake at 356°F for about 45 minutes or until golden.
Storage and Tips for Crispy Yogurt Chicken
It can be stored until the next day in the refrigerator in an airtight container. If you like, add grated lemon zest to the marinade for a variation. For a sweet and sour touch, add 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup. The recipe can be cooked in both the oven and an air fryer, the latter with the benefit of not needing preheating.
