Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups Manitoba flour
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3 1/2 tbsp peanut oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/4 cups scamorza cheese
- 3/4 cup tomato puree
- to taste oregano
- to taste salt
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
How to Make Danubio Pizza Flavor
In a large bowl, mix the yeast with some milk and sugar, then add all the flours, the rest of the milk, oil, and salt, continuing to mix until a well-incorporated dough is obtained.
Take the dough and transfer it to a floured surface, shape it into a round and uniform form.
Then let it rise until it doubles in volume in a bowl covered in a warm place. Meanwhile, in a pan, cook the tomato puree and season with salt and oregano, continue cooking for another 6/7 minutes, then let cool.
After the resting time, divide the dough into 10-11 balls of about 90 g each. When you open them, you must insert a teaspoon of tomato puree and diced scamorza cheese.
Finally, close them well and place them in a baking tin lined with parchment paper. Bake your Danubio Pizza Flavor on the lower rack of the oven and cook at 350°F for about 35 minutes.
Remove from the oven and garnish with more tomato and cheese, bake again until the cheese has melted.
