Ham and Potato Rolls

Ham and Potato Rolls a very tasty main dish! A simple and quick recipe to prepare; the combination of potatoes with ham is enjoyed by both adults and children. Some time ago, I made a no-bake version of ham and potato rolls. Also try the bread rolls with bacon and the pepper rolls with cheese. This preparation has won us over in our family! Ingredients

  • 10.5 oz cooked ham (12 slices)
  • 1.1 lbs potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 0.7 oz parmesan cheese
  • to taste salt
  • 2/3 cup cooking cream

how to make ham and potato rolls

  • Boil the potatoes in salted cold water. Then peel and mash them with the skin in a bowl using a potato masher (don’t worry, the skin gets trapped inside).

  • Then add the salt, parmesan, nutmeg, and egg, and mix the ingredients well with a fork.

  • Lay out the ham slices on the work surface, and place some puree and a piece of cheese at the center of each slice.

  • Roll them up, then arrange all the rolls on a baking tray.

  • Pour the cream, and top with diced cheese and parmesan.

  • As the final step, bake in the oven at 375°F for about 15 minutes.

This type of preparation can be stored in the refrigerator inside an airtight container or covered with plastic wrap.

  • Can the ham in the ham and potato rolls be replaced?

    Yes, you can replace it with speck or prosciutto, but adjust the salt as they are more flavorful; use less salt in the potato mixture.

  • Can I speed up the recipe?

    Of course, you can prepare the recipe the night before, season them with cream and cheeses just before baking.
