The meatballs in sauce with peas are a timeless classic that never disappoints! Loved by both adults and children, their creaminess is perfect for mopping up the sauce. A time-saving, delicious, and timeless recipe, but today I had a special helper: Bimby® TM6 by Vorwerk, an indispensable kitchen robot. It kneads, weighs, blends, chops, grinds, pulverizes, slices, grates, whips, thickens, and naturally cooks; all in the bowl, basket, and Varoma. This last accessory included with the Bimby® consists of a container, tray, and lid, allowing us to steam cook multiple foods simultaneously to create a complete menu in one cooking session, like today’s recipe! These and many other functions are ones I absolutely recommend you try. Bimby® offers, thanks to the official Cookidoo® platform, infinite recipes to execute in Guided Mode, with pre-set steps, articles, videos, and step-by-step photos for the most challenging recipes. Furthermore, you can always further personalize your kitchen and table with the new and exciting “Adapt” feature that lets you choose the right portions for every need or occasion, every day, with just a click!

- 1.5 tsp salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1.4 oz grated Parmigiano Reggiano
- 1 clove garlic
- 1.8 oz onion
- 1.4 oz extra virgin olive oil (+as needed)
- 1.32 lbs tomato sauce
- 10.6 oz frozen peas
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 pinch black pepper
- as needed fresh parsley leaves (for garnish)
Procedure
For the meatballs:
In a small bowl, place the bread, soak it with milk and leave it to soften for a few minutes. Put the minced meat, egg, salt, pepper, grated Parmigiano Reggiano, and the soaked and squeezed bread into the bowl, mix: 25 sec./Speed 5.
Grease with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil the container and tray of the Varoma. With oiled hands, form meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter and place them between the container and the tray of the Varoma. Position the tray on the container, close the Varoma with the lid and set aside, then wash and dry the bowl.
Put the garlic clove, onion, and extra virgin olive oil in the bowl, chop: 5 sec./Speed 5. Gather at the bottom with the spatula, then flavor: 3 min./248°F/Speed 1.
Add the tomato sauce, peas, salt, and black pepper. Place the Varoma and cook: 20 min./Varoma/Speed.
. Carefully remove the Varoma. Place the meatballs in a serving bowl and drizzle with the sauce with peas. Mix gently and serve your hot meatballs with peas.
