Pizza Cones quick and tasty recipe perfect for an aperitif. I love preparing oil-based flatbreads; some time ago, I also made layered flatbreads. But today, I propose a fun and quick version: The flatbread is rolled into a cone shape, creating a crunchy shell. They are very versatile and can be filled in countless ways with cured meats and cheeses, or with a tasty chicken salad but also in a vegetarian version with tomato sauce, eggplants, zucchinis, or sautéed mushrooms. For a touch of freshness, you can add arugula or fresh lamb’s lettuce.

How to make pizza cones
Start by cutting the flatbread in half
Create a cone by rolling each part of the flatbread, then secure them in that shape using a toothpick.
At this point, bake in the oven at 356°F for about 7-8 minutes or until golden.
Remove from the oven and fill with cooked ham, tomato sauce seasoned with salt, oil, and oregano, then add cheese.
Transfer all cones into a bundt pan and put back in the oven until the cheese is completely melted.
Take out your pizza cones and enjoy them hot and gooey.
Storage of pizza cones
This is a dish that is best consumed immediately. However, (if you have leftovers, though I doubt it) they can be stored in the refrigerator until the next day if well wrapped in plastic. To reheat and maintain crispiness, you can bake them in the oven or use an air fryer.
