Ingredients
- 1.76 lbs pork loin
- to taste pepper
- to taste salt
- to taste garlic powder
- 7 oz sausage (crumbled)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1.1 lbs potatoes
- 0.5 cups wine
How to Make Pork Loin with Sausage
Start by making fairly deep horizontal cuts in the meat, then salt and season with garlic and parsley.
Add some crumbled sausage into each pocket formed by the cuts.
At this point, tie the meat with kitchen string to keep it from opening during cooking.
Prepare the potatoes: wash, peel, and cut them, then transfer them to a baking pan with the meat. Season with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and rosemary.
Bake the pork loin with sausages and potatoes in a preheated oven at a temperature of 356°F for 20 minutes, then quickly open the oven and pour the wine over the entire surface of the meat.
Continue cooking for another 20-30 minutes (depending on the power of your oven). At the end, remove from the oven and serve hot!
Storage and Tips for Pork Loin with Sausage
The roast can be stored in an airtight container until the next day. On the stove, in the microwave, and in the oven. Remove the meat from the fridge and let it come to room temperature. Heat a pan over low heat, add a knob of butter, and lower the heat. Add the meat and heat it for a few minutes.
