Puff pastry apple rings are a quick and easy dessert to make at the last minute. What you’ll need are a few simple basic ingredients: puff pastry, apples of your choice, cinnamon and brown sugar.
I love apple desserts; I also recommend the invisible apple cake and the upside-down apple cake. Back to our puff pastry apple rings: crunchy on the outside and creamy inside, they are really simple to make — try them, I’m sure you’ll like them!

How to make puff pastry apple rings
Start by unrolling the puff pastry, then cut it into strips about 1 1/8 inches wide and set them aside.
At this point peel the apples and use the corer to remove the core and seeds.
Now slice the apples and then roll a strip of pastry around an apple slice, as shown in the photo.
Place the rings on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Brush with the egg and sprinkle the surface with cinnamon and brown sugar.
Bake in a conventional oven for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. As a final touch, garnish with powdered sugar.
Storage
The rings can be stored for up to one day under a cake dome.
