Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3 tablespoons Nutella®
- to taste sugar crystals
- to taste milk
- 11 milk chocolate eggs
How to make puff pastry bunnies
Start by unrolling the puff pastry, then fill half of it with plenty of Nutella.
Fold it over itself and using a smooth-edged knife, cut into strips about 3/4 inch wide.
Take some parchment paper and create rough balls. Form the bunnies by intertwining the two ends of the strip, placing the paper ball in the center.
Arrange all the bunnies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush with milk, and sprinkle with sugar crystals.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Decorate with Easter eggs.
Storage and tips for puff pastry bunnies
They can be stored at room temperature for up to two days in an airtight container. Before serving, you can also reheat them slightly in the oven or air fryer to revive crispiness.
