Quick Pizza Donuts

Quick Pizza Donuts, seen on Instagram I had to remake them right away! I find the idea brilliant, easy, and super tasty. Definitely to be accompanied with other Appetizers. These are donuts made with ready-made pizza dough, which you just need to fill with tomato paste, oregano, and feta. Roll everything up and bake in the oven for only 15 minutes. If you prefer, you can also bake them in the air fryer, but you’ll need to do more batches.

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls white pizza dough (rectangular)
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 3.5 oz feta
  • to taste olive oil

How to make Quick Pizza Donuts

  • Unroll the first pizza dough, then fill with tomato paste and oregano.

  • Add the crumbled feta as well.

  • At this point, with the second roll of pizza dough, cover the filling making it adhere to the base.

  • Proceed with cutting the strips, approximately 1.2 inches wide, using a smooth-edged knife. Then twist each strip into a spiral.

  • As the last step before baking, proceed by forming donuts with the twisted strips; place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with a little olive oil.

  • Bake in a static oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes.

Storage and Tips for Quick Pizza Donuts

The quick pizza donuts can be stored until the next day if covered with plastic wrap or in a bread bag. If they become too hard, simply warm them in the microwave for a few seconds. Alternatively, you can also freeze them. You can add chopped olives to the filling.
