How to make Ricotta and Ham Puff Pastry Muffins
Unroll the puff pastry, then use a pastry cutter to cut out many discs.
Place them on a lightly oiled muffin mold.
In a bowl, mix the ricotta with a pinch of salt, oil, grated Parmesan, and cooked ham. Stir everything to blend the flavors well.
At this point, fill the muffins with the prepared cream.
Close the edges and brush the surface with beaten egg and garnish with mixed seeds.
Bake in a static oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 20 minutes; take them out of the oven and serve hot or cold, they will be good either way.
Variations for Ricotta and Ham Puff Pastry Muffins
You can replace the cooked ham with salami or mortadella, instead of Parmesan you can use pecorino to make them even more flavorful. Since puff pastry is present, I do not recommend freezing it.
