Savory Double Puff Pastry Croissants, appetizer and super easy! Puff pastry is always in my kitchen, and my recipes are proof of that. In fact, I recommend reading the collection of 40 puff pastry recipes where you’ll surely find plenty of interesting ideas. My favorite is the rustic pie with sausage and broccoli, but if you’re aiming for something sweet, I recommend (I adore) the simple apple cake and the puff pastry with Kinder bars. The flaky croissants are really quick to prepare and perfect to serve as an aperitif or appetizer. They’re good both hot and cold, and importantly, they can be prepared and kept in the fridge to be cooked at the time of serving. I filled them with a classic combo of ham and cheese, but you can let your creativity run wild with new combinations.

How to Make Savory Double Puff Pastry Croissants
As the first step, unroll the round puff pastry on a surface and spread the Philadelphia, then add the cooked ham and cheese.
Take a second puff pastry disk and cover the filling by overlapping and sealing the outer edges tightly.
Using a straight-blade knife, divide the disk into 8 equal-sized triangles.
then roll each triangle on itself, forming the classic croissant shape
Place the croissants well spaced on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush them with egg white and decorate with mixed seeds.
Bake and serve hot and cheesy!
