Ingredients

  • 4 cups Manitoba flour (or Caputo cloud flour)
  • 1 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 10 salt
  • 1 egg
  • as needed milk
  • 1 oz arugula
  • 9 oz prosciutto crudo
  • as needed mayonnaise
  • 2 tomatoes

How to make Savory Stuffed Brioche Bread

  • Place the flour and the yeast in a large bowl

  • Gradually pour in the lukewarm milk, then add the egg, oil, and salt.

  • Knead well to form a dough ball and let it rise for 2 hours until it doubles in size in the oven off with the light on

  • After resting, divide the dough into 6 equal parts.

  • Arrange the balls spaced apart, in a Bundt pan with a diameter of 9.5-10 inches, lightly buttered.

  • Let it rise again for another 30 minutes, bake at 356°F in static mode for about 35 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with milk twice.

  • Once cooled, cut in half and fill with a couple of teaspoons of mayonnaise, arugula, tomatoes seasoned with salt and oregano, and prosciutto crudo.

  • Close and serve!

Storage and tips for savory stuffed brioche bread

You can keep it under a cake dome, or inside a food bag. You can fill the savory brioche bread with salami and cheese, or with mortadella and pistachios, or with tuna and mayonnaise. For a vegetarian version, you can fill it with mozzarella and tomato or grilled zucchini, eggplants, and peppers.
