Ingredients
- 1 roll white pizza (ready-made dough)
- 3.5 oz bacon
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 1 oz grated Parmesan
- 1 egg yolk
- 2.8 oz provola cheese
- 1 Air Fryer
How to make smart Neapolitan sandwiches
Unroll the pizza dough without removing it from its parchment paper and spread it very well.
At this point, distribute the diced cold cuts and cheeses and finish with the grated Parmesan.
Roll it up tightly to form a sausage shape. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Slice it, keeping a thickness of about 1.5 inches between each piece. Place the Neapolitan sandwiches on a baking tray, well-spaced from each other.
Beat the egg yolk with a fork and brush it on the surface of each sandwich. Cook in an air fryer at 356°F on fan mode for about 10 minutes.

You can store them in the refrigerator inside an airtight container until the next day. You can freeze them. The traditional filling includes cold cuts, but it’s possible to make them vegetarian: with friarielli and olives or with grilled vegetables.
