Stuffed Puff Pastry Pizza

The stuffed puff pastry pizza is a very simple recipe. I love preparing these delicacies; my favorite is the puff pastry pie with stracchino and ham and the Caprese savory pie. The stuffed puff pastry pizza can be served as a main course or as an appetizer; the ingredients to make it are few and simple: ready-made puff pastry, for the edge, small mozzarella balls, and melting cheese. Did I make you crave it? Come on, let’s try it together.

How to Make Stuffed Puff Pastry Pizza

  • Take a round baking dish, place the first puff pastry on it, keeping the parchment paper, then unroll the second puff pastry, removing the paper this time to wrap it, and place it on top of the first one you have already positioned.

  • Then put the small mozzarella balls along the perimeter and close with the outer edges of the puff pastry forming a perfect circle.

  • At this point, fill the center with the tomato sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.

  • Brush the edges with the slightly beaten egg. Bake at 375°F in a static oven for about 25 minutes. Remove from the oven and enjoy!
