The stuffed puff pastry snail is an easy and tasty recipe.
I suggest this preparation to serve as an appetizer or main course accompanied by a cheerful salad.
My version is filled with ham and scamorza, but you can get creative as you like. A while ago I made a sweet version: puff pastry snail with pistachio and the pizza version.

HOW TO PREPARE THE STUFFED PUFF PASTRY SNAIL
Unroll two puff pastry rolls and with a sharp knife divide them into 4 parts creating strips that must all be the same size.
Then fill each strip with ham and scamorza cut into strips, taking care to place the filling in the center and leave about 0.4 inches from the edges, then seal each strip well.
At this point, roll them up on themselves to form a snail, then brush it with beaten egg and sprinkle it with poppy seeds.
Then bake your stuffed puff pastry snail at 392°F for 20/25 minutes in a static oven.
Tips for the Stuffed Puff Pastry Snail
Once you have created all the strips you can store them in the freezer for 15 minutes, this helps to maintain the shape so they will roll better
