Ingredients

  • 2 cups ricotta
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • to taste ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp gelatin
  • 1/3 cup candied cherries
  • 1/3 cup orange peel
  • 2 tbsps milk
  • to taste chopped pistachios
  • 3.5 oz white chocolate
  • to taste candied cherries

How to Make the Sweet Ricotta and Pistachio Brick

  • As the first step, put the gelatin in a bowl with water to soak for 10 minutes.
    In a mixing bowl, stir the ricotta with the sugar and cinnamon, then add the candied fruit and mix well.

  • Squeeze the gelatin very well and dissolve it in the milk, once you have a smooth mixture, add it to the ricotta and mix well.

  • Pour the mixture into a loaf pan lined with plastic wrap, then cover and let rest in the refrigerator for 4 hours.

  • After the cooling time, invert the dessert onto a serving plate and garnish with melted chocolate, chopped pistachios, and cherries.
