How to make Tiramisu with Caramelized Apples
Start by caramelizing the apples: peel them and slice them thinly, then cook them in a frying pan with sugar, a squirt of lemon, 3 tablespoons of water, and cinnamon. After 5-6 minutes, remove from heat and set aside.
For the mascarpone cream: Put the mascarpone in a bowl, work it with electric beaters. Separately, beat the yolks with the powdered sugar, then pour in the hot liquor and beat until you get a nice thick mixture. Add the beaten yolks to the mascarpone, then whip the cream with a tablespoon of powdered sugar and gently fold it into the mascarpone cream.
Start assembling the dessert: Pour some cream onto the base of the dish, soak the cookies in milk and place them side by side, add more cream and the caramelized apples.
Repeat the layers until the ingredients are used up, then decorate with some apple slices, chocolate, and Paneangeli’s golden cocoa.
