How to make the trio of savory snacks
Start by unrolling the puff pastry, then use a 4-inch round cutter to cut out circles.
With this ready-made puff pastry, I was able to make 10 pieces. At this point, divide into 3 portions and fill the first with Philadelphia cheese and bacon.
At this point, fold the edges and roll up.
The second version is filled with tomato paste, oregano, and cheese.
The third version is with Philadelphia, cheese, and very thinly sliced zucchini. Then roll.
Brush all your savory snacks with the lightly beaten egg, then decorate with almonds, sesame seeds, and poppy seeds. Bake at 375°F for about 10-12 minutes in static mode.
Storage and tips for the trio of savory snacks
It is recommended to consume them on the same day, but if there are leftovers, you can store them in the fridge in an airtight container. You can also create other combinations, for example using shrimp or salmon, making them perfect for Christmas Eve. If you don’t like puff pastry, you can use shortcrust pastry.
With any leftover puff pastry, you can roll it out again and make more snacks, to reduce food waste.
