Ingredients

  • 6 piadinas (rollable)
  • to taste tomato sauce (or tomato paste)
  • 7 oz mozzarella (grated)
  • 5 oz cooked ham
  • 10 packets salami

How to Make the Very Tasty Piadi Cake

  • Take the piadina and place it on the work surface, then fill it with tomato sauce, cooked ham, and grated mozzarella.

  • At this point, fold the edges and roll up.

  • At this point, cut in half.

  • Take a 8-inch springform pan. Then wet a sheet of parchment paper, squeeze it, and place it inside the pan. Next, arrange the rolls, place all the rolls on the cake pan, and top with more cheese.

  • Cook in an air fryer for about 10-12 minutes at 356°F.

  • Take out of the oven and garnish with slices of salami and put back in the oven for a few moments.

Storage and Tips for the Very Tasty Piadi Cake

You can prepare it well in advance and cook it at the moment. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container until the next day. You can fill the piadina however you like, just make sure to use rollable ones, or it will compromise the success of the recipe.
