The recipe for chocolate filled raspberries, or rather the non-recipe, is a delicious dessert with just 2 ingredients, but so very good and quick to make.
A dessert perfect if you’re short on ideas, have unexpected guests, or just want to indulge in a small treat without too much guilt!
The raspberries are indeed perfect to hold cream and chocolate in their hollow, so why not take advantage?
I served them with milk chocolate to please my sweetheart who doesn’t like dark chocolate, but they can also be filled with other types of chocolate, spread or pastry cream.

Ingredients
- 3.5 oz raspberries
- 1.75 oz milk chocolate
- brown sugar (or granulated)
Steps
Pat the raspberries dry with a damp paper towel.
– Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie (recommended over the microwave if the amount to be melted is small) and let it cool slightly, then pour it into a piping bag and cut the tip. Fill the raspberries and place them in a small bowl filled with sugar or chopped nuts (helps to keep them upright). Refrigerate the chocolate filled raspberries to let the chocolate set.
– Serve them in small bowls and if you like, dust with a little powdered sugar.
Advice:
– I recommend against washing the raspberries under running water as it would be difficult to dry the inside.
