No-bake Chocolate Tartlets

The no-bake chocolate tartlets recipe, egg-free, gluten-free, and with no added sugars, is super delicious and extremely easy to make.

Do you know Snickers snacks? The taste is very similar!

Ideal as a snack or as a dessert at the end of a meal, I immediately loved these tartlets because they have all the characteristics I’m looking for: quick to make, healthy ingredients, and delicious!

The base dough is made with only 2 ingredients: dried dates and almonds; while the delicious filling is made of dark chocolate (the sugar percentage depends on your taste) and peanut butter. That’s why they resemble peanut snacks a bit.

The final texture of the dessert is very pleasant and I am sure that even those who don’t follow a specific diet will love these tartlets which, despite the name, don’t go in the oven. The only step on the stove or in the microwave is to melt the chocolate, so you have no excuses; if you don’t have pitted dried dates, get them as soon as possible and prepare the no-bake chocolate tartlets.

Ingredients

  • 1.4 oz organic pitted dates
  • 2.8 oz blanched almonds
  • 4.2 oz 70% dark chocolate
  • 2 oz peanut butter
  • peanuts (to taste)

Tools

  • Food processor
  • 4 Muffin molds

Steps

  • – Soak the dates in warm water for about an hour, then blend them together with the almonds until you get a sticky consistency.

  • – Form the tartlet bases by lining the bottom and sides of the molds. To make spreading easier, you can use the back of a wet teaspoon. Place in the fridge for about 1/2 hour or more, if needed.

  • – Melt the chocolate, let it cool slightly, and pour the peanut butter inside along with the roughly chopped peanuts.

  • – Pour the chocolate mixture into the hardened molds, decorate with some peanuts, and place in the fridge for half an hour or more.

Storage:

– In the fridge for 4/5 days.

Tips:

– Make sure the chocolate used is suitable if you are gluten intolerant.
