Ingredients

  • 6 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
  • Nutella®
  • 3.5 oz dark chocolate
  • glitter sugars
  • pistachio crumble

Steps

  • Cut the crust off all four sides of each slice of sandwich bread.

  • Flatten each slice with a rolling pin, spread the cream, and then fold in half like a book.

  • Spread the cream on the folded side facing you as well.

  • Roll the slices of sandwich bread onto themselves.

  • Immerse the logs in melted chocolate using a microwave or bain-marie and allow excess chocolate to drip off.

  • As soon as the chocolate begins to set, create irregular veins using a toothpick and decorate with sugars or crumble as desired. Wait until they dry completely before removing them. Store in the pantry.

Tips:

No need to refrigerate them.

Instead of sandwich bread, you can use a good brioche.

FAQ (Questions and Answers)

  • Can they be frozen?

I would avoid freezing them already glazed, as the temperature shock could ruin the chocolate on the surface.
