The no-bake hazelnut pralines are a delight both to make and to eat! They are addictive!
The ingredients are 4: chocolate wafers, spreadable cream, hazelnuts, and chocolate, making it a super easy recipe with guaranteed results.
During the holiday season, it’s true we indulge in lots of sweets, but these could be a very much appreciated gift made with our own hands using easily available ingredients!
There are many similar recipes online, so I’m not claiming to have discovered anything new, just to be clear! However, I use my spread, and it’s a value-added that has been greatly appreciated by everyone who’s tried them.
And even if you haven’t yet made my spread (which is without added sugars and can be stored in the pantry like the most famous spreads), I invite you to try them because they are worth it!

Ingredients
- 2.5 cups chocolate wafers
- 0.5 cup Nutella® (or other spread)
- 0.25 cup blanched whole hazelnuts
- 3.5 oz 50% dark chocolate
- 0.5 cup chopped hazelnuts
Steps
– Pour the wafers into a large bowl and crumble them with your hands; add the spread and mix the ingredients together.
– Roll out the mixture between two sheets of parchment or aluminum foil, and press with a rolling pin; chill for 15 minutes to firm up slightly.
– Using a round cutter or small glass, cut circles and place a dollop of spread and a hazelnut in the center. Fold the mixture over itself and form into balls. Chill again for about 15 minutes.
– Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or in a bain-marie, add the chopped hazelnuts and mix.
– Dip the balls into the chocolate and let them dry in the fridge or at room temperature.
Storage
– The no-bake hazelnut pralines can be stored in a cool place in the pantry.
