Ingredients
- 5.3 oz scamorza cheese
- 3.5 oz cured bacon
- 1 roll puff pastry
Steps
The bacon puff pastries are super easy and very quick to prepare; first, unroll the puff pastry roll and cut it into 6 equal parts, vertically.
Stuff the lower part of each piece with a little scamorza cheese, close the pastries by bringing the free pastry over the filling, seal the edges well and fold them under the pastry.
Wrap each pastry in a slice of bacon, place the bacon puff pastries on a baking tray lined with parchment paper (you can use the one from the puff pastry) and bake them in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes, they should be well golden.
Tips:
The bacon puff pastries can be stored at room temperature for a few hours or in the fridge for a couple of days. You can replace cured bacon with streaky bacon. You can fill them with your preferred filling, even with a creamy cheese like robiola or stracchino.
