The baked large pancake is a quick and clever recipe, a soft and fragrant dessert that will be loved by both adults and children. It is a delicious dessert baked in the oven, a cross between a sweet fritter, a pancake, and a crepe. A few days ago I had prepared it with apples and you asked me for a simple one without anything, so here you go. The batter for this baked large pancake is prepared in 2 minutes with a fork, and the wonder is to see it grow in the oven, it will puff up a lot! Delicious on its own and perfect with Nutella, jam, peanut butter, protein cream or other spreads, honey, maple or agave syrup, cream or fresh fruit on top, this baked large pancake is perfect for breakfast to start the day well and with taste, but also as a snack, try it now!

- 2 tbsps sugar
- 2 tbsps butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- to taste vanilla
- to taste powdered sugar
Steps
The baked large pancake is very simple and quick to prepare, first put the milk, eggs, sugar, flour, melted butter, a pinch of salt, vanilla in a bowl and mix all the ingredients well using a fork.
Lightly butter (or oil or line with parchment paper) a non-stick pan and pour the prepared batter inside, bake the large pancake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20 minutes, it should be golden brown.
The baked large pancake is ready to serve, garnish it with a light dusting of powdered sugar if you want and serve it alone or with your favorite toppings.
Tips:
The baked large pancake can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days. To make it taste fresh again, heat it for a few minutes in the already hot oven or in an air fryer. If you prefer, you can also substitute the butter with oil, but I recommend using butter because it makes the pancake much more flavorful, soft, and puffy. For a lactose-free version, in addition to substituting butter with oil or vegetable butter/margarine if you use it, you can use a plant-based milk.
