The chicken sausages are a very quick, tasty, and easy-to-prepare meat dish. I had some chicken breast to cook and didn’t feel like making the usual roasted slice, so I decided to make sausages. What a delight! The chicken sausages are very tender, appetizing, and flavorful, without eggs, put all the ingredients in a food processor (or kitchen mixer), blend, and they are ready, you can cook them as you prefer, in the oven, in a pan, in an air fryer, on the griddle, or on the grill, to be served with a side of salad or baked potatoes or fried/in pan, they will save your dinner!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Cost: Economical
- Preparation time: 5 Minutes
- Portions: 6 chicken sausages
- Cooking methods: Stove, Oven, Air Fryer
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: All Seasons
Ingredients
- 14 oz chicken
- 1.8 oz Parmesan
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 sprig parsley
- 1 carrot (medium)
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Steps
Chicken sausages are super easy and quick to prepare. First, cut the chicken breast into chunks.
Place the meat in a food processor, add the chopped carrots, parsley, garlic clove, grated Parmesan, salt, black pepper, and blend everything.
Divide the mixture into 6 equal parts and form sausage shapes, spreading the dough with your hands.
The chicken sausages are ready to be cooked. I drizzled a bit of extra virgin olive oil in a pan and browned them evenly for about ten minutes. Alternatively, you can bake them in a preheated oven at 400°F for about 20 minutes or in an air fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes. You can also grill or griddle them.
Notes:
Chicken sausages can be stored in the fridge for a couple of days, but you can easily freeze them. If you don’t like garlic, simply don’t add it. If you don’t want to use the carrot, omit it, the sausage will still be good.
