In the countryside, we are picking a lot of oranges and to use some, I decided to make a very soft cake with lots of fresh fruit juice, I didn’t have eggs, so I made it without. Ingredients
- 11 1/2 oz orange juice
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 orange zest (grated)
- 1 packet baking powder
- to taste powdered sugar
Steps
The eggless orange cake without milk and butter is super easy and quick to prepare; first, put the sugar, grated zest, and orange juice, vegetable oil in a bowl, and mix with a fork.
Add the flour, baking powder, and form a homogeneous and lump-free mixture, working all the ingredients always with the fork.
Transfer the batter to a cake pan lined with parchment paper and bake the eggless orange cake in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 45 minutes, perform the toothpick test to check for doneness. Garnish the dessert with a dusting of powdered sugar.
