Steps
Mini sweet croissants are super easy and quick to prepare. First, unroll the puff pastry and cut it in half, then into 4, then into 8 parts, and cut each eighth into 4 parts. You will thus obtain 32 elongated triangles.
Fill the base of each piece with your preferred filling. I used dark chocolate chips, peanut butter, pistachio cream, Nutella, peach and cherry jam, a piece of white chocolate. Starting from the filled base, roll each piece onto itself, forming a small croissant.
Starting from the base, roll each piece onto itself, forming a small croissant. Form all the mini sweet croissants this way, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper (you can use the one from the pastry), brush them with beaten egg, and bake them in a preheated oven at 350°F for 20 minutes; they should lightly brown.
Finish the mini sweet croissants with a dusting of powdered sugar.
Tips:
Mini sweet croissants can be stored at room temperature for 4-5 days. You can fill them with any filling you prefer.
