Ingredients
- 1.1 lbs champignon mushrooms
- 1 cup grated Parmesan
- 3.5 oz extra virgin olive oil
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- to taste spices
Steps
Mushrooms with Parmesan are very simple and quick to prepare. First, clean the mushrooms and slice them into pieces just under half an inch thick.
Season the champignon mushrooms with salt, black pepper, spices to taste (I used rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and paprika), extra virgin olive oil, and mix well.
Brush the base of a baking pan with some of the mushroom oil and cover it with grated Parmesan, then place all the mushrooms on top, filling all the spaces, if necessary, by cutting them into smaller pieces.
Compact the mushrooms with Parmesan well and bake them in a preheated oven at 428°F for about 20 minutes, until they are nicely golden brown.
Notes:
Mushrooms with Parmesan can be kept at room temperature for a few hours or in the fridge for a couple of days. You can flavor them with your preferred spices and also use other types of mushrooms.
