Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- Half packet baking powder
- to taste vanilla
- to taste Nutella®
- to taste powdered sugar
Steps
● Nutella muffins are very simple and quick to prepare, first take the Nutella with a teaspoon and make small mounds on a parchment paper sheet, then place them in the freezer for at least an hour. This operation will allow you to get a compact filling that doesn’t sink while baking and remains creamy.
● Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla until they become light and fluffy. Add the vegetable oil and mix. Add the flour, baking powder, and milk, and form a smooth, lump-free mixture.
● Fill the muffin liners with some batter and add a mound of Nutella in the center, do not press too much to prevent it from sinking.
● Bake the Nutella muffins in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes, do the toothpick test to check the doneness.
● Remove the treats from the oven, take them out of the molds, and garnish them with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.
Notes:
Nutella muffins can be stored at room temperature for 4-5 days. If you want to prepare these treats but don’t have much time, you can skip the first step and not freeze the Nutella, but this will not allow you to get a homogeneous and creamy filling.
