The phyllo cake with pears and chocolate is a dessert that is quick and super clever to make in 10 minutes without kneading anything, because you will use phyllo pastry as the base, which, as you know, I love and enjoy using for both sweet and savory recipes. After the one with apples and jam, I wanted to prepare a version with pears, and I assure you it’s really special! The phyllo cake with pears is soft and crunchy at the same time, simple and delicious, perfect for breakfast, a snack, or as a dessert, simply irresistible!

Ingredients

  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.3 cup chocolate chips
  • 3.5 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 pears
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 package phyllo pastry (10/11 sheets)
  • to taste powdered sugar

Steps

  • The phyllo cake with pears and chocolate is very simple and quick to prepare, first put the milk, eggs, sugar in a bowl and mix quickly with a hand whisk or a fork.

  • Clean the pears and slice them thinly, I did not remove the skin, do as you prefer.

  • Crumple the sheets of phyllo pastry, one at a time, and place them next to each other in a non-stick tray greased with a little melted butter, then brush the remaining melted butter over the phyllo pastry.

  • Insert the pear slices between the folds and also add the chocolate chips, pour over the previously prepared batter and bake the phyllo cake with pears in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 25 minutes, it should be golden brown. Carefully unmold the cake and garnish it with a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Tips:
