The no-yeast water focaccia is a clever, super quick recipe that you can prepare in no time! This isn’t the classic leavened focaccia — there is no brewer’s yeast. Make the dough in one minute using a simple fork, fill it as you like and into the oven: after baking time it will be ready to eat. Soft, melty, very tender and delicious, this water focaccia will save dinner in a flash. - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups water (room temperature)
- 5.3 oz scamorza cheese (about 1 cup shredded)
- 3.5 oz cooked ham (prosciutto cotto)
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 packet instant baking powder for savory preparations

Steps
The no-yeast water focaccia is super easy and very quick to prepare. First, put the flour, room-temperature water, extra virgin olive oil, the egg, the baking powder, and the salt into a bowl and mix with a fork until you obtain a soft, lump-free batter.
Transfer half of the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper, add a few slices of cooked ham, scamorza cheese, more ham, and cover the filling with the remaining batter.
Sprinkle a little sesame seeds on top and bake the water focaccia in a preheated oven at 356°F for about 30 minutes; it should be golden on top. Do the toothpick test to check it is cooked through.

Tips:
