Three Chocolates Salami

in ,

The three chocolates salami is a really delicious no-bake cold dessert. I love this type of dessert and I’ve made many versions, all delicious, quick, and lighter than the classic recipe, most without butter and eggs. I had some open packages of milk, white, and dark chocolate and decided to use all three to make a different kind of chocolate salami. The three chocolates salami is made in 5 minutes with only 3 ingredients, without butter, sugar, and eggs, it is fresh, simple, and super tasty, try it because you will love it 😀

  • Difficulty: Easy
  • Cost: Cheap
  • Preparation time: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 10-12 slices
  • Cooking methods: No-Bake
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Spring, Summer, and Fall

Ingredients

  • 7 oz dry cookies
  • 7 oz mixed chocolate, white, milk, and dark
  • 3.5 oz milk
  • to taste powdered sugar

Steps

  • ● The three chocolates salami is very simple and fast to prepare, first melt the 3 chocolates all together in a double boiler or microwave.

  • ● Put the dry cookies in a bowl and crush them with a pestle; the pieces should be of different sizes, from very fine to slightly coarse. If you prefer, you can also use a food processor or mixer.

  • ● Add the room temperature milk, the melted white, milk, and dark chocolate, and mix all the ingredients well.

  • ● Take a sheet of aluminum foil and place a piece of plastic wrap on top, place the prepared mixture on it, form a log, and wrap it first with plastic wrap and then with aluminum foil.

  • ● Place the three chocolates salami in the fridge for at least 4 hours, so it will firm up well. After the time has passed, garnish the chocolate cookie salami with some powdered sugar to simulate the “mold” of classic salami, then slice it.

Notes:

The three chocolates salami can be kept in the fridge for 3-4 days. For this dessert, you can use your preferred cookies; I used digestive ones.
