Tuna, olive, and cherry tomato pasta is a quick and delicious first course. I often make this dish, preparing the sauce in just a few minutes while the pasta cooks, and lunch is solved! Tuna, olive, and cherry tomato pasta is simple and flavorful; you can use either green or black olives (I prefer the latter), to make it even more flavorful, I added some chopped mint, which really tastes great, give it a try 😀

Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta
- 1 1/3 cups cherry tomatoes
- 5 oz tuna in oil (drained)
- 1/4 cup black olives
- 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 sprig mint
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Steps
● Tuna, olive, and cherry tomato pasta is very simple and quick to prepare. First, put the oil in a pan and brown the chopped garlic clove, add the cleaned and sliced cherry tomatoes, salt them, add a basil leaf and cook, over low heat and with the lid on, for 3-4 minutes.
● Add the drained tuna, pitted black olives, a bit of black pepper and let them flavor for a couple of minutes, add the pasta cooked al dente, the chopped mint, a bit of cooking water and mix all the ingredients well.
● Plate the tuna, olive, and cherry tomato pasta and serve.
Notes:
Tuna, olive, and cherry tomato pasta can also be prepared using green olives and parsley instead of mint.
