The braided pastries with cream and chocolate chips are a real treat for breakfast and snack time. These soft and fragrant leavened pastries combine the softness of the brioche dough with the deliciousness of the custard and the intense flavor of the chocolate chips.
Perfect to start the day with energy or to enjoy a moment of pleasure, these braids are a classic of homemade pastry that captivates both adults and children, good and soft for a café-like breakfast.
The secret of these soft brioches lies in the rich and well-leavened dough. Made with flour, milk, eggs, and butter, the dough must rest for a long time to ensure a light and stringy consistency. After leavening, it is carefully braided and filled with velvety custard and dark chocolate chips, which melt slightly during baking, giving off an irresistible aroma.
The braids are perfect for a delicious breakfast, accompanied by a cappuccino or hot tea. They are also a great idea for a genuine snack, to be enjoyed with a glass of milk or orange juice. Thanks to their beauty and goodness, they are ideal to serve on holidays and special occasions, like Mother’s Day or a Sunday brunch.
To get super soft brioches, it is important to respect the leavening times and choose quality ingredients. If you want an even more delicious touch, try brushing them with honey or sugar sprinkles before baking.
Prepare them at home and surprise everyone with their irresistible goodness! 🥐🍫✨
