Cream tart with Philadelphia.. light, good, easy and quick!

Looking for a cute idea to give to someone? The cream tart is an easy to make but modern dessert and you can personalize it as you like 😀

I used blackberry jam inside and decorated with macarons and sugar paste flowers, but you can decorate it with Nutella and chocolates or seasonal fruit.. In short, you can unleash your creativity! 😍

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 7/10 cup sugar
  • 1 lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 8 oz Philadelphia cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • red food coloring

Steps

  • How to prepare the cream tart:

  • To prepare the cream tart, start with the shortcrust pastry by placing all the ingredients in a bowl:
    the flour, the sugar, the lemon zest, the eggs, the almond flour, the baking powder, and finally the butter.

  • Mix quickly without warming the dough too much.

  • Once ready, place it on a piece of plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, prepare the filling by combining the cream in a bowl,

  • the Philadelphia, the 30g of sugar, and the vanilla.

  • Mix well

  • Put a few tablespoons of the mixture in another small bowl.

  • Beat with the whisks

  • Add the food coloring to the remaining mixture in the small bowl.

  • Beat.

  • Divide the shortcrust pastry into two equal parts and roll it out.

  • Using a stencil, cut out two equal hearts or any desired shape

  • Bake in the oven at 350°F for 25 minutes

  • Place the two whipped creams in two piping bags. Use the white cream to create dollops all over the pastry.

  • Add a few teaspoons of jam, Nutella, or other cream to taste in the center

  • Place the other heart on top of the cream dollops

  • Create a second layer to cover the entire surface.

  • Use the piping bag to form decorative dollops with the colored cream

  • Decorate as desired
