Ingredients
- 10.5 oz lentils
- 1 cup barley
- 2 carrots
- 1 small onion
- 1 bouillon cube (homemade)
- 3/4 cup tomato puree
- 4 cups water
Steps
Dice the carrots and onion
Sauté in a pot with a drizzle of oil.
Add the tomato and a pinch of salt
Add the barley and lentils.
Dilute with water and the bouillon cube.
Cook with the lid slightly ajar for about 40 minutes.
If desired, season with a drizzle of raw olive oil and optionally serve with croutons.
